As the owner of Cyber Traffic Store I wanted to write about my experience creating the website. What I thought was going to be the hard part was easy and the easy part turned out to be the difficult part. When I first decided that I wanted to develop and create one of the many website traffic sites I thought I would hire someone to design a website for me, that would be half the battle, the other half would be locating a re-direction script for the traffic. Ironically these two tasks turned out to be the easy part of the project. Although they were both time-consuming and took approximately 6 months to achieve it was without frustration, all I needed was patience, so I thought. Now that I had the website built and the traffic redirection script installed I wanted to be able to make some changes to the website, you know how it is, in the 6 months I was having the site created I was coming up with additional ideas and wanted to implement them on the site, no way, no how, at least not without a website editor. Once I discovered I couldn’t edit the website I contacted the company I had build the site and they informed me that I would need a program like Dreamweaver, the program they used to design and create the site for me, or I could contact the company every time I wanted to change something and make the edit’s. That meant more money every time for the edit’s and of course I would have to wait for them to make the edits, then decide if they were changes that were actually improvements, so off I went searching the internet for a reasonably priced edition of Dreamweaver.
After checking out quite a few sites and doing a lot of comparisons I was able to locate an edition to download and get started but of course now I had to learn how to use the program, no sweat right? wrong, with limited time to spend it took me another 3 months to be confident enough to use the editor but the end result was there, I was able to edit the website myself to my satisfaction.
The final task was the most frustrating of all, finding a traffic supplier that I could work with, be confident in and trust…Wow what a task, after trying more than a dozen I gave up and started to re-think the process about how to locate a traffic supplier that would fill my need and help my site increase website traffic, after all I wanted to be able to promote my own site with this traffic as well. I asked myself time after time why is this part so difficult, a year had already gone by since I chose a domain name and it seemed like I was no closer to my goal of being able to get website traffic. I wasn’t sure how to proceed now, I knew I needed a traffic company to help me that I would be satisfied with. When the weekend rolled around I would spend a great deal of time searching, then one weekend when I was searching I happened to change my search phrases around and presto I located two that I had not yet tried, both sounded promising. I communicated with both, wow that was a surprise because I hadn’t found one yet that would respond to emails let alone find a traffic supplier with a phone number on their website, I tested both with my own website and both had results that were promising. I was surprised at how lengthy a project this turned out to be, but once again, persistence had paid off. I am still learning my way around the Website editor and still learning how to make changes but I am confident that in the end the site will be the way I want it.
