Using dams to hold back water is an effective means of controlling water that is frightening homes and properties. They are effective and budget friendly since they can be used over and over again. The strategy of using dams that take the onsite water is environmentally friendly. They cause no harm to the land since what is being used is the water that is already on the land at the site of the water intrusion.
