Internet Broadband also known as high-speed which is a high data rate connection contrasted with dial-up access to internet. Based on the International Telecommunication Union Standardization Sector (ITU-T), the broadband defined as a transmission capacity from 1.5 Mbit/s to 2 Mbit/s. Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) and cable Internet (tv en internet) are the standard broadband technologies in most areas while the Wi-Fi networks are installed in few areas which doesn’t has either ADSL or cable Internet.
When the users choose to set up an Internet Broadband connection, there are some notes need to be aware with if the connection seems to be slowed down. The users are suggested to turn off the router and even the computer if the connection has slowed down only recently. Meanwhile, try to use a shorter cable as it will slow down the broadband connection. It is important to secure the Internet Broadband connection by password to prevent others access it. Use a wired connection is always better than a wireless connection as to prevent some blockings between the computer and router.
The benefit of Internet Broadband connection is the users no need to worry about getting disconnected unless the ADSL line being unplugged and it will be more stable than the dial-up access. It may also cheaper than dial-up access if the usage of internet connection is large as the monthly basis bill consists of unlimited Internet surfing and Internet Protocol (IP) address. However, there may also some disadvantages obtained from the Internet Broadband connection. If the usage of internet connection is small then it is advisable to use the dial-up access as not to waste the unnecessary cost. As the protection provided from the IP address, the users may not be able to enjoy the file sharing programs and need to install firewall and anti-virus software program.
The internet and the internet plus bellen has achieved a large customer response since its inception. People are shifting their focus from traditional television to internet tv or smart televisions.
